Soccer Game Preview: Corrigan-Camden vs. San Augustine

The Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs and the San Augustine Wolves will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Having struggled with eight losses in a row, Corrigan-Camden turned things around against Pollok Central on Saturday. They never let the Bulldogs onto the board and left with a 4-0 win. Corrigan-Camden's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last nine games.

Meanwhile, San Augustine has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 10. Neither they nor Trinity could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Wolves' first draw of the season.

San Augustine's draw gives them a new season record of 1-6-1. As for Corrigan-Camden, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.

Corrigan-Camden skirted past San Augustine 1-0 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Does Corrigan-Camden have another victory up their sleeve, or will San Augustine turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
