Virgin Valley had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. They came out on top against the Desert Hills Thunder by a score of 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 21-25, 25-21.

Destry Tobler paced Virgin Valley's offense, picking up 11 kills. Tobler got some help from Alonzo Roque and his 25 assists. Tobler also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Aiden Muniz, racking up three apiece.

Virgin Valley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-5. As for Desert Hills, they moved to 11-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
