Metro-East Lutheran took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 40-33 victory over Christ Our Rock Lutheran. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Silver Stallions: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Carlinville came up short against Hillsboro on Friday and fell 60-48.

Metro-East Lutheran's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Carlinville, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Metro-East Lutheran didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Carlinville when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 67-61 win.
