Basketball Recap: Loyal Comes Up Short

Loyal was the 57-39 winner over Columbus Catholic when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Loyal Greyhounds took a 51-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbus Catholic Dons on Friday. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loyal's record is now 6-9. As for Columbus Catholic, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8.

Loyal has already played their next match, a 48-27 win against Athens on the 3rd. As for Columbus Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-28 victory against Newman on the 3rd.
