Soccer Recap: Portland Takes a Loss

Portland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sexton Big Reds. If Portland were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to Sexton when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Portland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sexton, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Portland is set to face off against their familiar foe Olivet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sexton will take on rival Lansing Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
