Basketball Game Preview: The Awty International Rams vs. St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans

After both having extra time off, The Awty International Rams and the St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Awty International has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 184 points over their last three contests.

The Awty International took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. They managed a 65-61 victory over Lake Houston HomeSchool.

Meanwhile, St. Stephen's Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch last Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-56 heartbreaker at the hands of Regents.

The Awty International pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.6 points per game. As for St. Stephen's Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

The Awty International beat St. Stephen's Episcopal 71-58 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for The Awty International since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
