Basketball Recap: Swansea Takes a Loss

Swansea had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were beaten by the American Leadership Academy Patriots 71-44.

Among those leading the charge was Justin Richburg, who went 7-for-12 en route to 14 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Makel Hillary, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 10 points.

Swansea didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-36 loss against Pelion on the 22nd. As for American Leadership Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 78-22 win against Northside Christian Academy on the 22nd.
