Liberty had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 50-49 W against the South Carroll Cavaliers. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 73-64 victory the Cavaliers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Liberty pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points over those games. As for South Carroll, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Looking ahead, Liberty will venture away from home to square off against Francis Scott Key at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South Carroll, they will face off against Western Tech & Environmental Science on Monday.
