Baseball Recap: Grenada Takes a Loss

Grenada fell victim to Center Hill and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chargers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Brayden Trusty spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Grenada saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Klinck, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

With the loss, Grenada broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-8. As for Center Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.

While Grenada had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
