Softball Preview: Springville Red Devils vs. Maple Mountain Golden Eagles

The Springville Red Devils will head out on the road to square off against the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Springville is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Salem Hills, who was ranked 11th in their home state at the time (Springville was ranked fifth). Springville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. As for Maple Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.
