Volleyball Recap: Elite Comes Up Short

Elite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fortune Early College Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Elite's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Fortune Early College, their win ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Elite is set to square off against their familiar foe Esparto at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Fortune Early College will face off against rival Delta at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
