Timpview and Wasatch are an even 4-4 against one another since August of 2017, but likely not for long. The Thunderbirds will square off against the Wasps at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Timpview is headed into Tuesday's match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Pleasant Grove. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Timpview couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Wasatch had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1. That's two games straight that Wasatch have won by exactly two goals.

Timpview's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Wasatch, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Timpview took their win against Wasatch in their previous matchup last Tuesday by a conclusive 4-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunderbirds since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
