Baseball Recap: Hudson Triumphs

Hudson lost to Coxsackie-Athens back in May of 2025, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Bluehawks came out on top against the Indians by a score of 5-2.

Gannon Logue made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Hudson is 6-1 when Logue posts two or more runs, but 0-4 otherwise.

In other batting news, Ryan Conte was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs. He has become a key player for Hudson: the team is 6-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 0-4 otherwise.

Hudson now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Coxsackie-Athens, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
