Basketball Recap: Gateway Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Gateway, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Canon-McMillan Big Macs 67-47 on Monday. Given the Gators' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Big Macs are ranked 452nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gateway pushed their record up to 10-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points over those games. As for Canon-McMillan, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

As of now, neither Gateway nor Canon-McMillan have any future games scheduled.
