SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Shannon Scott, Dai-Jon Parker and Milton (Ga.) pounced on top-ranked Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) in the first quarter, and then held on late for a 75-69 upset victory at the Spalding Hoophall Classic.

Oak Hill entered the game ranked No. 1 in the Xcellent 25 and Milton is No. 11. The Georgia program began the season ranked No. 2 nationally by MaxPreps.

Oak Hill could not find an answer for the Milton guards who slashed and dashed their way for a combined 41 points to deliver the top-ranked Warriors their first loss of the season.

Scott (Ohio State) had a game-high 22 points and Parker added 19 during an unselfish team performance by the Eagles.

Milton led by as many as 20 before Quinn Cook (16 points) forced a turnover and fed Damien Wilson (10 points) for a quick chip in to give Oak Hill a 51-50 lead late in the third quarter.

Yet, Scott bounced right back and led Milton on a 6-0 run to end the quarter and help preserve the Eagles victory.

Oak Hill got as close as 62-60 in the fourth after a Keith Hornsby 3-pointer, but could not pull off the comeback.
