Tuxedo came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Mekeel Christian Academy Lions. The Tornadoes' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Mekeel Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bria Salvo, who had 23 assists and ten digs. Salvo is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 24 games she's played. Macie Dell was another key player, getting seven kills, seven digs, and two aces.

Tuxedo's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Mekeel Christian Academy, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-4-4.

As of now, neither Tuxedo nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
