Basketball Game Preview: Ringwood Red Devils vs. Cherokee Chiefs

The Ringwood Red Devils will take on the Cherokee Chiefs in a holiday battle at at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Ringwood came up short against Perry on Friday, falling 51-29. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Cherokee is still winless after their match against Perry on Saturday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Maroons. One positive for the Chiefs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Cherokee's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Ringwood, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Ringwood didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Cherokee in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 37-32 victory. Does Ringwood have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cherokee turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
