Meanwhile, Lower Merion unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Boyertown.
Lower Merion started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-18.
Despite the defeat, Lower Merion saw an underclassman step up: Keira Li had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces Li has posted since back in August.
