Volleyball Preview: Del Valle Conquistadores vs. Horizon Scorpions        
        
		
             After both having extra time off, the Del Valle Conquistadores and the Horizon Scorpions will shake off the cobwebs and  take on  one another  at 6:35  p.m.  on Tuesday. Del Valle will be strutting in after a  win while Horizon will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Last Tuesday, Del Valle beat Bel Air 3-1.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 24-26,  25-17.
 Del Valle found their leader in underclassman  Rebecca Natera, who  had 18  digs and three  aces. That's the most  aces  Natera has posted since back in August.
 Del Valle  kept the net locked down and  finished the game with ten  blocks. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  had at least six  blocks in ten consecutive  matches.
 Meanwhile, Horizon was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They fell just short of Hanks by a score of  3-2. While the Scorpions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights  25-21 in the first  set.
 Horizon took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-20,  15-13.
 Del Valle pushed their record up to 15-12 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Horizon, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14.
 Del Valle was able to grind out a solid  win over Horizon when the teams last played  back in September, winning  3-1. Does  Del Valle have another victory up their sleeve, or will Horizon turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
