It's playoff time, and Huntingtown had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Lackey Chargers on Saturday as they made off with  a  19-0 win. Considering the Hurricanes have won 16 matches by more than five  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Jordyn Greever was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in 19 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with four  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news, Huntingtown got a  massive  performance out of  Madalee Hunley, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with four  runs and two  stolen bases. Those  four  runs gave  Hunley a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Kayla Ripple, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs and two  RBI.
The  victory was  the sixth in a row for Huntingtown, bringing their record up to 20-3. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Lackey, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
As of now, neither Huntingtown nor the Chargers have any future games scheduled.
