The Cornerstone Christian Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Victoria East Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cornerstone Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 71.2 points per game this season.

On Tuesday, Cornerstone Christian got the win against Lakeside by a conclusive 75-53. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Joaquin Galindo was the offensive standout of the matchup as he went 6-for-12 on his way to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xander Parra, who posted 11 points.

Meanwhile, Victoria East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-58 heartbreaker at the hands of Jones.

Victoria East's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Cornerstone Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Everything came up roses for Cornerstone Christian against Victoria East in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured an 81-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
