Basketball Recap: Pine Forest Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Pine Forest Trojans came up short against the Cary Imps on Tuesday and fell 53-45. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Pine Forest saw an underclassman step up: freshman Robert Stubbs went 7-for-14 to rack up 15 points and three steals. Calvin Townsend was another key player, putting up 13 points and five rebounds.

Pine Forest now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Cary, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Pine Forest will venture away from home to square off against Cape Fear at 7:30 p.m. on December 4. As for Cary, they will host Leesville Road at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Imps will need to watch out since the Pride have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
