Whitewater had won seven straight games and Rylee Vessell did her part to make it eight on Tuesday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Spalding Jaguars by a score of 2-0 for which the team can thank Vessell, who had 18 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Whitewater was: they took both sets by at least 16 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-9.

Whitewater's win bumped their record up to 20-5-1. As for Spalding, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Whitewater will take on McIntosh at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Spalding, they will venture away from home to take on Hampton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
