Basketball Game Preview: Novi Christian Academy Warriors vs. Parkway Christian Eagles

The Novi Christian Academy Warriors just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Parkway Christian Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Novi Christian Academy will be strutting in after a win while Parkway Christian will be coming in after a defeat.

Novi Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 57-22 victory over Oakside Prep Academy. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Novi Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Olivia Foguth, who posted 19 points. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for Foguth. Another player making a difference was Grace Bell, who had ten points.

Meanwhile, Parkway Christian played a tough match on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Lutheran, falling 62-39. The Eagles have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Parkway Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Novi Christian Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9.

Novi Christian Academy came up short against Parkway Christian when the teams last played last Thursday, falling 46-40. Can Novi Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
