Owyhee put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Monday. They came out on top against the Meridian Warriors by a score of 5-0. The Storm haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meridian's batters probably weren't too happy with Hailey Brennan, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 18 Ks (she gave up zero walks). Brennan has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one hit in 16 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Grace Groulx was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Madalynn Mahaffey, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Owyhee lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Meridian didn't launched any.

Owyhee's record now sits at 22-2. As for Meridian, they moved to 10-11 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Owyhee will face off against rival Mountain View at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Meridian is set to challenge their familiar foe Boise at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
