Softball Recap: Aucilla Christian Comes Up Short

Aucilla Christian lost against St. John Paul II back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 5-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alexandria Whaley and Lexie Eades stepped up to the plate in a big way. Whaley went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI, while Eades got on base in two of her three plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Megan Wellman was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Aucilla Christian now has a losing record of 3-4. As for St. John Paul II, their record is now 6-8.

Aucilla Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-3 loss against Florida State University High School on the 10th. As for St. John Paul II, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-3 defeat against Lincoln on the 8th.
