Baseball Game Preview: New Life Christian Academy Warriors vs. Lee Christian Falcons

New Life Christian Academy is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Lee Christian an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The New Life Christian Academy Warriors will look to defend their home field against the Lee Christian Falcons at 4:00 p.m.

New Life Christian Academy came up short against Wilson Christian Academy on Monday, falling 10-4.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Lee Christian took on Central Carolina Academy on Tuesday. The Falcons came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 10-5.

Kaydan Brower made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Lee Christian is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 0-4 otherwise. Brower was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Lee Christian got a big performance out of Patrick Grant, who scored three runs and stole two bases. Cason Correll was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases.

Lee Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for New Life Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

New Life Christian Academy took their win against Lee Christian in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 26-8 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
