Volleyball Recap: Alexandria-Monroe Takes a Loss

After flying high against University last Thursday, Alexandria-Monroe came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Muncie Burris Owls on Tuesday. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Owls from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17, 25-8.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 2-2. As for Muncie Burris, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Alexandria-Monroe will venture away from home to challenge Tri-Central at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Muncie Burris, they will host Cowan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
