Softball Recap: Atlantic County Institute of Tech Takes a Loss

If Atlantic County Institute of Tech was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Buena last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Atlantic County Institute of Tech took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Our Lady of Mercy Academy Villagers on Wednesday. Atlantic County Institute of Tech was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Our Lady of Mercy Academy earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Atlantic County Institute of Tech's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Our Lady of Mercy Academy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atlantic County Institute of Tech will square off against Williamstown at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Our Lady of Mercy Academy, they will face off against Middle Township at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
