Baseball Recap: Saugus Gets the Win

Saugus got themselves on the board against Tustin on Saturday, but Tustin never followed suit. They won by a run and slipped past the Tustin Tillers 1-0. That's two games straight that the Centurions have won by just one run.

Zachary Herbert looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

Saugus' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Tustin, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
