Football Recap: Dike-New Hartford Takes a Loss

The matchup between Dike-New Hartford and Roland-Story on Friday hardly resembled the 16-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Wolverines and the Norsemen were almost perfectly matched up, but the Wolverines suffered a 35-34 defeat. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Norsemen apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2017.

Dike-New Hartford's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Roland-Story, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.
