St. Joseph had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the St. Augustine Knights as they made off with a 12-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Flyers, who have now won 16 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

St. Joseph pushed their record up to 25-5 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for St. Augustine, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
