Football Recap: Central Lafourche Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Central Catholic last Friday, Central Lafourche came back down to earth. The Trojans took a 32-14 bruising from the East St. John Wildcats on Friday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Central Lafourche dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for East St. John, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Central Lafourche and East St. John could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings. The Trojans (ranked 144th) will meet Hahnville (ranked 47th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, East St. John will take on Terrebonne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (112 vs. 21).
