ALA - Ironwood's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 22-7 margin over the Apache Junction Prospectors. That looming 22-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.

ALA - Ironwood let Antonia Benzor and Emma Gonzales run wild. Benzor got on base in all five of her plate appearances with eight stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI, while Gonzales got on base in all five of her plate appearances with seven stolen bases, five runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI Benzor has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Samantha Campano, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

ALA - Ironwood always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .816. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

ALA - Ironwood's win bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Apache Junction, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Looking ahead, ALA - Ironwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Benjamin Franklin at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Chargers have averaged an impressive 9.1 runs per game this season. As for Apache Junction, they will head out to take on Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Prospectors surely won't give up without a fight.
