Basketball Recap: Northeast Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Northeast faced off against Brunswick on Saturday. The Northeast Bearcats were beaten by the Brunswick Wildcats 69-32. The contest marked the Bearcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Brunswick, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Northeast will head out to challenge La Plata at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Brunswick, they will be home for the holidays to greet Tina-Avalon at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Brunswick knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Tina-Avalon likes a good challenge.
