If Olney wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Forestburg, they should've done a better job of containing Brenna Briles. The Longhorns took down the Cubs 53-34 on Thursday with plenty of help from Briles, who shot 4-for-7 from downtown and dropped a double-double with 23 points and 14 rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 43.6% three-point shooting accuracy.

The team also got some help courtesy of Addi Conway, who posted 12 points and four steals. Conway is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Forestburg and bumps their season record up to 4-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Olney, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Forestburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 44-37 victory against Electra on the 4th. As for Olney, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-25 defeat against Chico on the 6th.
