Volleyball Recap: Belmont Comes Up Short

Belmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Shullsburg Miners, falling 3-0. If the Braves were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Miners when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 25-13.

Belmont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Shullsburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Belmont will head out to face off against Benton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shullsburg, they will square off against Kickapoo at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
