Volleyball Recap: North Side Comes Up Short

North Side suffered their biggest loss since November 4, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Nimitz Vikings. The defeat continues a trend for the Steers in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost three in a row.

While North Side ultimately came up short, they really made Nimitz work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-16, 25-20.

North Side's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Nimitz, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Looking ahead, North Side will take on Young Women's Leadership Academy in a tournament on Thursday. Nimitz has already played their next contest (against Northside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
