Baseball Recap: Beaver Victorious

Beaver lost to North Catholic back in May of 2025, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Bobcats came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 4-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bobcats.

Jackson Reese made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one triple. That triple was his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Maddox Tanner, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Beaver's record now sits at 13-5. As for North Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Beaver will have a chance to go back-to-back against North Catholic: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
