Lanesville is a perfect 5-0 against Crothersville since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Crothersville took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lanesville, who comes in off a win.

While Lanesville's win against Crawford County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles won by a run and slipped past the Wolfpack 6-5. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wolfpack: they've now won seven in a row.

Makenna Mills made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Madelyn Magner, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Izzy Rawlings also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
