Vermilion Catholic and Northlake Christian squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Vermilion Catholic had to settle for second. They came up short against the Northlake Christian Wolverines, falling 3-0. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly three goals.

Vermilion Catholic is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10. As for Northlake Christian, their win bumped their record up to 11-5-2.

As of now, neither Vermilion Catholic nor Northlake Christian have any future games scheduled.
