Riverdale entered their tilt with Central on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Rockets.

The team relied heavily on Katie Cox, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Peterson, who went 3-for-4 with one double.

Riverdale's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Central, they moved to 4-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Riverdale didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-1 victory against Marengo on the 11th. As for Central, they will face off against Prairie Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
