The Martinsville Bluestreaks will challenge the Casey-Westfield Warriors at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The timing isn't great for Martinsville: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Casey-Westfield has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road.
Martinsville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Tuesday. They came out on top against Dieterich by a score of  12-9. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Bluestreaks as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.
  Addi Adams was  incredible,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Harper Baird, who  went 2-for-4 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
Meanwhile, Casey-Westfield won against Mattoon  on Friday with ten  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Tuesday. The Warriors didn't even let Neoga on the board, marking the Warriors' second-straight  10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 24 matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
Not much got past  Ava Goble, who gave up just  a  hit and racked up 11 Ks to keep Neoga off the board. Goble has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 15 consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Casey-Westfield got a  massive  performance out of  Anna Karras, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Karras is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Gyllyane Gilbert, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 Martinsville's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Casey-Westfield, their victory bumped their record up to 30-3.
