Baseball Recap: Galt Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cordova, Galt was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Rosemont Wolverines by a score of 6-2. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 9-8 win the Wolverines walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Nick Reid made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, Anthony Trejo was excellent, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Galt now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Rosemont, the defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 4-4-1.

Galt will have a chance to go back-to-back against Rosemont: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
