Baseball Recap: Stranahan Mighty Dragons vs. Northeast Hurricanes
Stranahan lost against Northeast back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Stranahan Mighty Dragons came up short against the Northeast Hurricanes, falling 15-0. The Mighty Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Stranahan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Omar Fuentez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases.
Stranahan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Northeast, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stranahan will challenge Hollywood Hills at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Stranahan has given up an average of 8.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Northeast, they will square off against Everglades at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
