Basketball Game Preview: Browerville Tigers vs. Osakis Silverstreaks

The Browerville Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Osakis Silverstreaks at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Browerville will be strutting in after a win while Osakis will be coming in after a loss.

Browerville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Long Prairie-Grey Eagle with a sharp 64-44 victory on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Tigers have posted since December 6, 2024.

Meanwhile, Osakis didn't have quite enough to beat Royalton on Monday and fell 57-54. While losing is never fun, the Silverstreaks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while the Royals are ranked 24th).

Osakis' defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Browerville, their victory bumped their record up to 4-18.

Browerville took a serious blow against Osakis in their previous meeting back in January, falling 71-32. Can Browerville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
