Volleyball Game Preview: Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros vs. Alliance Bloomfield Bulls

The Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros will face off against the Alliance Bloomfield Bulls at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Rancho Alamitos' favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Alliance Bloomfield has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Rancho Alamitos and Bolsa Grande, and Rancho Alamitos kept the tradition alive. The Vaqueros came out on top against the Matadors by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

The victory didn't come easy: Bolsa Grande scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 23-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Alliance Bloomfield made easy work of CALS Early College on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The Bulls haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-17.

Rancho Alamitos' win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Alliance Bloomfield, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Rancho Alamitos took their victory against Alliance Bloomfield in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Vaqueros have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulls turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
