Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Miller Place walked away with it. They never let the Williamsville South Billies get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Not much got past Ava Zicchinelli, who gave up just three hits to keep Williamsville South off the board. Zicchinelli has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Miller Place saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Lopez, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Miller Place's record now sits at 23-2. As for Williamsville South, they moved to 16-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Miller Place nor the Billies have any future games scheduled.
