Basketball Recap: King's Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

King's Academy hadn't done well against CHAAMP HomeSchool recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Knights came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hawks, sneaking past 46-44. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on three straight.

Despite the defeat, CHAAMP HomeSchool had strong showings from Carter Frank, who posted seven points along with 11 boards and five blocks, and Caleb Carlisle, who had 13 points. Frank is becoming a predictor of the Hawks' success: when he posts at least three blocks the team is 2-1 (and 5-13 when he doesn't). Eli Hefner was another key player, putting up seven points.

King's Academy now has a winning record of 11-10. As for CHAAMP HomeSchool, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

King's Academy will take on Marshall Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for CHAAMP HomeSchool, they will square off against Greenville Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
