Fluvanna County is a perfect 10-0 against Louisa County since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Flying Flucos will host the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Monday, Fluvanna County and Orange County finished up their match with a 1-1 draw. The outcome might've been different if Luke Manzano hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Fluvanna County's goal came courtesy of Brady Crisp, who's now up to seven this season.

Meanwhile, Louisa County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They came up short against Charlottesville, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Louisa County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while Charlottesville are ranked eighth).

Fluvanna County's draw makes their record 7-5-2 this season. As for Louisa County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.

Fluvanna County came out on top in a nail-biter against Louisa County in their previous matchup back in April, sneaking past 1-0. Do the Flying Flucos have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
